This is what I believe. Every single one of us has a story to tell, an individual identity shaped by where we come from and what we experience. Each of us has a certain point of view.

My point of view is shaped by my own narrative as a first generation Indian American who loves history and storytelling. Inspired by the ways in which history intersects in our daily lives, I am fascinated with how our vast and diverse human experience is captured in art, music, literature, theatre, and dance in both the real and fictional world.

In recent years that work, in addition to world events, has strengthened my resolve to leverage my experience and knowledge to promote equity and a full understanding of our shared past.

On this site you'll get a glimpse of my work as a writer, public historian, and a storyteller. Welcome.
